DiceTutors is a safe and convenient educational platform where certified tutors offer modified syllabi. DiceTutors offers teaching and continuous evaluation for primary, secondary, and tertiary students, covering both internal and external exams including professional exams and courses.

DiceTutors offer for learning subjects from Primary through secondary school to Tertiary institution.

An OTP phone code is a code received while signing up, to verify a phone number.

A ticket is a complaint opened by users of the platform to report an issue for the attention of the support team. 

Resolving tickets depends on the magnitude of the issue but on average, it takes not less than 72 hours. 

A referral link is a unique link for every registered user to refer/invite others. 

Inviting others to the platform attracts a referral bonus that is paid into your e-wallet.

A referral bonus drops instantly into your wallet as soon as the referee signs up. 

To recover your login details, click the ‘Forgot Password icon’ on your App, then follow the prompts. 

Dormant or unused accounts can be deactivated after a long period of not being used. 

There are penalties for the breach of any part of the terms and agreement.  

The penalties can be suspension of the account or total deletion from the DiceTutors platform. 

A session auto-reminder is an inbuilt feature on your App that reminds you about your classes a few minutes before the commencement of the learning session.

It’s a choice but turning it on helps you not to miss any session.

The amount to pay pops up and is displayed once your request is approved.  

  

To make a payment, enter your payment card details and deposit funds into your wallet. Your wallet funds will be deducted once your request is accepted. 

Your request will not be granted.

To join a group, an invitation link for the already created group classroom will be sent to you. 

Your unused funds will be returned to your wallet. 

Admin will investigate and process the refund within 7 days.

You can follow-up and reschedule or create a ticket for Admin to follow up on your behalf.

Payment for work done will be scheduled for the next payout session.

Payment will be on hold till timesheet is submitted.

A tutor will be asigned immediately payment is acknowledged.

Yes, you can select a tutor of your choice.

An email verification code is a code received while signing up to verify email. 

A welcome email is a mail received by all tutors and users after registering successfully on the App. 

A group classroom is a learning forum that involves more than one learner.

Participants of a group classroom are sent the created group link by an Admin to join the classroom.

MFA Authentication is an extra security measure to secure your account.

 

Activation of MFA is done on your App. Users and tutors are to switch it on to secure their accounts. 

Rates are the amount tutors charge per hour for a particular subject.

The rate charged by the tutor is determined by the tutor but there are limits set by DiceTutors Admin.

The system automatically calculates the total pricing due according to the rate set by the tutor for the subject selected and the total number of days and hours the tutoring session is being booked for. 

Rating is an act of evaluating and giving feedback about your tutor or user.

To make a request, click on Request a tutor and follow the prompts where you’ll who the request is for, select educational level, subject to learn, select the days and time to learn, and the list of available tutors will be displayed for selection of your choice. 

Kindly open a ticket for Admin to investigate and fix the issue.

Select another tutor available and you can also open a ticket.

Kindly open a ticket for Admin to investigate and match you up with a tutor that suits your request. 

To make an additional request, click the additional request button to follow the prompts.

Cancel the request and make a fresh request.

To request a service extension, click the service extension button and follow the prompt.

Yes, a tutor can decline or accept your request for a service extension. Where this happens, a new request can be made. 

Your unused timesheet payment will be refunded to your wallet.

The tutor will not be paid for the timesheet missed and a refund will be made to your wallet 

Open a ticket and indicate tutor for non-appearance.

An email reminder will be sent to the tutor to reschedule with the user. Any missed time sheet will be refunded.

Open a ticket and specify the tutor ID. Admin will investigate and may likely connect you with a new tutor.

Admin will resolve the issue once you open a ticket.

Service cancellation is the act of initiating the termination of an already requested service.

A tutor and user can initiate a service cancellation. 

 

The request is received by the admin and investigated before approval.

There are penalties like forfeiture of a percentage of wallet funds or suspension of account where applicable.

To accept a request, click the Accept Request button which will display all the details of the user’s request.

There are no penalties for declining a request once, but continuous decline of requests can attract suspension of accounts or total deletion

Open a ticket and Admin will begin an investigation immediately.

Open a ticket. A new tutor will be re-assigned to you. 

To get verified, upload your certificates, and ID card, take an aptitude test, attend an interview, and await approval by Admin.

Open a ticket and indicate the user ID.

Ask the user to use the service extension button to extend the service. You can accept the request afterward.
